TIMBUS Project Web Portal: a Gateway to the TIMBUS Tools

Coming to a close at the end of this month, the EU-cofunded TIMBUS project has spent the last 4 years focusing on resilient business processes, developing tools and solutions to make the execution context, within which data is processed, analysed, transformed and rendered, accessible over long periods. Furthermore, TIMBUS has considered dependencies on third-party services, information, and capabilities that will be necessary to validate digital information in a future usage context.

As a means to sustain this progress, the TIMBUS Project is delighted to announce the new web Portal. A gateway to the TIMBUS outputs, the Portal will house the wealth of tools and solutions for the preservation of business processes and business continuity management developed by the TIMBUS Consortium.

The Portal harbours both TIMBUS tools and other supporting publications and resources, presented to engage a wide audience including non-experts. To be hosted by the Digital Preservation Coalition following the completion of the project, the Portal will sustain the outputs of TIMBUS for use by the community.

Designed to captivate both deliberate researchers and incidental visitors, the Portal arranges the various and wide-ranging methodologies, software, journal articles, and other outputs so that anyone from a wide audience can navigate the content and find meaningful information.

Happy browsing! http://timbusproject.net/portal and Merry New Year!

Best Wishes from the TIMBUS Project
