As of the beginning of December the City of Westminster no longer provides a commissioned archives service for Hammersmith & Fulham, who have appointed their own part-time archivist.

 

Consequently the post advertised below will be based purely at the City of Westminster Archives Centre and please ignore any references to Hammersmith & Fulham in the job pack.

 

 

 

Westminster City Archives archivist -

permanent contract

18 hours per week

£30,648 - £34,494 pro rata

 

The details of the post are as follows –

The successful candidate will undertake the full range of professional duties including assisting customers in the Searchroom, answering remote enquiries, managing volunteers, undertaking outreach and community engagement activities, online service promotion, accessioning and cataloguing new deposits.
