Jodi Awards 2015 - deadline for applications 12 January
The Jodi Awards recognises museums, galleries, libraries, archives, heritage venues and disability organisations which use digital technology to provide a shared experience for disabled people. They welcome nominations from all kinds of projects, small and big, low-tech and hi-tech and for small and large audiences. Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence - Application deadline 30 January
The Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence celebrates best practice within museums, galleries, cultural and heritage visitor attractions. They attract hundreds of entries every year to win one of 11 prestigious awards. The categories for 2015 cover a range of aspects across the museums, galleries and heritage attractions sector. The awards are also open to operators and suppliers - unless otherwise stated. Last year the International Award went to National Archives, The Netherlands, Het Geheugenpaleis, for the project 'The Memory Palace - with your head in the archives<http://www.museumsandheritage.com/show/awards/award-winners-2014/item/national-archives-the-netherlands-het-geheugenpaleis-the-memory-palace-with-your-head-in-the-archives>.'
