Job Application for Outreach Manager with Cambridge Science Centre

You may know someone who would be interested in this paid management position at the Cambridge Science Centre

 

Cambridge Science Centre is recruiting a manager for the On The Road Outreach programme.

            

The successful applicant will lead the scaling up of the On The Road programme (piloted in 2014). The post holder will be responsible for hiring staff, evaluation and reporting, ensuring the further development and future funding of the programme.  

  

   Salary between £22-27,000, depending on experience.

Changing the world: with the Cambridge Science Centre which has the mission of teaching children about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through interactive play. Tens of thousands of children (and adults)  have visited this new centre and many more have experienced the  exhibits as they toured schools in East Anglia. The Centre staff are constantly delighted with the great feedback they get and are seeking a special individual to join the expanding team.

 

The On The Road Programme Manager

The On The Road (OTR) programme is an integral part of the mission to ensure the exhibitions and activities reach audiences who would not normally be able to make a dedicated trip to Cambridge. The new manager will be responsible for scaling up and delivering the On The Road Programme, taking hands-on   exhibits and activities into schools. By summer 2015, it is expected that  the On The Road team will have grown to include a second staff member travelling with the exhibition and a dedicated administrator. Both will report  to this new outreach manager.
