Hi Gill,
this page has links to two executive summaries of regional programme evaluation reports:
http://clahrc-sy.nihr.ac.uk/resources-project-reports.html

South Yorkshire CLAHRC (collaboration for leadership in applied health research and care):
http://clahrc-sy.nihr.ac.uk/resources/toolkits/NIHR%20CLAHRC%20SY%20Internal%20Evaluation_Exec%20summary_10062013.pdf

Yorkshire and Humber HIEC (health innovation and education cluster):
http://clahrc-sy.nihr.ac.uk/resources/toolkits/YH%20HIEC%20Final%20Evaluation%20Report_Exec%20summary%2010062013-1.pdf

These used a blended approach: Realist Evaluation alongside Developmental and Utilization-Focused Evaluation.
They both originated with tables of CMOCs.  However, the extent to which these were explored and tested depended on end users' priorities and potential usefulness for programme/sector development.

I hope they are useful.

Best wishes,
Steve.

Hi everyone

I’ve received another request for examples of realist evaluation, preferably (but not necessarily) in international development, preferably (but not necessarily) for large-scale programs, in which CMOs were hypothesised in advance and tested.

Does anyone have examples that they can share?  Links to reports will do fine.

Best to all

Gill
