** Application deadline: November 28, 2014 ** A one-year contract as a postdoc associate is available in the group of Mario Barbatti (www.barbatti.org) at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, to start in January, 2015. The aim of the project is to develop and implement new statistical algorithms for electronic-spectrum simulations into the Newton-X program (www.newtonx.org) and to investigate the dynamics of halogen species in atmospheric photochemistry using nonadiabatic dynamics. The postdoc is supposed to have strong background in computational chemistry of excited states. Skills in statistics, numerical methods, and programming will be appreciated.
