medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

I have arrived on list since the saints first departed, and so am delighted
to meet them for the first time.

Might I, however, put in a plea that the subject line always be altered to
match the name of whichever saint is in question? We seem to be stuck on St
Edmund at the moment...

Thanks and best wishes,

Jane

Thank you so much for this, Matt. And thank you, Gordon and Karl for your
contributions as well. Moreover, thank you, Cate for setting this in motion.
My favorite saint is Nicholas Owen, which is unfortunately a tad late for
this list, but if you can stand an early modern saint, I'll try to do a
write-up on March 22 (which also happens to be my nephew's birthday,
although I have yet to convince him how lucky he is).

I so enjoy having the saints back.
