Unfortunately Volker Braun has been taken ill and will be unable to come to the UK for the readings scheduled in Aldeburgh, Warwick, London (Goethe Institute) and Oxford between 7-14th November.

All these readings have been cancelled and it is hoped that it will be possible to reschedule some at least in May.

In Oxford we will continue with some readings and a reception to mark the launch of Volker Braun, Rubble Flora: Selected Poems  at the advertised time (Tuesday 11th November) from 5pm.

Please do come along and  raise a glass to the poet in his absence.
