I would like to apologize to the list members for the mistakenly sent message and especially to you, Simon, for the private content of that message that was awkwardly distributed to all list members.

However, as my public rejection letter might cast a slur on Simon I wanted to add honestly that Simon’s application was indeed reflecting a very interested and intrinsically motivated student with excellent skills and that he was definitely a highly ranked candidate for the position. This circumstance makes my mistake even worse and I beg your pardon for it.

Maybe I need an older version of the software (which I was not able to find yet).


Do you have an idea what I could do?
