Hi,

Displacement with respect to the reference image is the absolute displacement.
Relative displacement is the displacement with respect to the next image along in the sequence.

I hope this helps.

All the best,
	Mark

I ran your script and it runs just fine, but I have a question about the output files. I see there are output values for absolute and relative displacement and I was wondering what they exactly mean? I assume the "relative" value is displacement with respect to the first image in the DTI series (ie. the B0 image)? what about the absolute value? also how is the displacement (not rotation and translation) calculated? I would appreciate your help!
