Nope, this isn't correct I'm afraid, because there's no guarantee that the
tracts overlap between subjects, even if the brains happen to be all in the
same space.

However, you can use fslstats to compute the average FA within the tract
for each individual subject (that is, doing it separately for each subject,
using a for-loop). These values can then be assembled into a table and used
in statistical software.
