Ideally any electronic device should not be brought into the Examination Room. Possession of unauthorised items is an infringement of the regulations and could result in DISQUALIFICATION. Photo ID has to be shown for all examinations. Invigilators will have copies of photographs taken during enrolment. If the students have not had their photographs taken during the enrolment process then they must provide photographic ID. The rule is no ID no EXAM. Happy to send you some screenshots and a brief précis if you want. That is the only way we accept OL test bookings. Sessions are set up by us, tutors book into them on a first come, first served basis. Once they are gone, they're gone! We manage all the OL tests apart from UK tests for Hairdressing/Beauty with C&G, which we allow the faculty area to oversee. Do you have to set up a different centre for each computer room that is used? Do the tutors book their own tests and invigilate them? We are doing some qualification with BPEC - some of their exams are knowledge based and some are 'proper' exams that must be individually invigilated - is anyone else dealing with this type of situation? I would also be really interested to hear from anyone who has a 'self service' booking system for online testing as this is something that I am trying to set up here at Doncaster. Any information would be appreciated.
