SUBMISSION DEADLINE 25 NOVEMBER 2014

EvoBIO 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark -- 8th - 10th April, 2015

Evolutionary Computation, Machine Learning and Data Mining in Computational Biology, to be held as part of EvoApplications 2015, the European Conference on the Applications of Evolutionary Computation

Join us in Copenhagen for EvoBIO, a multidisciplinary track that brings together researchers working in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology that apply advanced techniques coming from Evolutionary Computation, Machine Learning, and Data Mining to address important problems in biology, from the molecular and genomic dimension, to the individual and population level. EvoBIO engages researchers who are developing or applying advanced artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms to cutting edge problems in bioinformatics and computational biology. Each accepted paper will be presented orally or as a poster at the conference and will be printed in the proceedings published by Springer Verlag in the LNCS series. Possible topics of interest include:

- Interpretating genomic or metagenomic data

- Discovering regulatory or expression pathways

- Rational drug design and personalized medicine

- Modeling ecosystems or population dynamics

- Discovering genome-disease associations

- Assembling next generation sequence data

For more information, visit our web page at http://www.evostar.org/2015/, or follow us on Twitter @EVOBio2015, join our evobio2015 group on LinkedIn and our EvoBIO group on Facebook, or email to evobio.conference(at)gmail.com.

AUTHORS OF THE BEST PAPER WILL RECEIVE A WAIVER FOR THE PUBLICATION OF AN EXTENDED VERSION IN THE BIODATA MINING JOURNAL (impact factor 1.54) (http://www.biodatamining.org/)
