Dear colleagues,

the Research Network on "Ageing in Europe" (RN1) of the European Sociological Association organises a Spring Course from March 23-25, 2015 at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, entitled "Long live the active!? A critical review of active ageing". It adresses all current Ph.D students and Early Career scientists working in any disciplinary field related to the topic of active ageing. The Spring Course combines the opportunity to present and discuss own scientific work with keynote lectures by and discussions with renowned scientific experts in the field.

The attached Call for Papers provides further details on the event.
Paper abstracts with a maximum of 200 words should be submitted by November 21, 2014.
Successful applicants will be informed duly and will have to submit their full papers by February 15, 2015.
