In the
1960s, Gloria Steinem and Barbara Nessim were roommates. These two
independent, creative women—one from East Toledo and one from the
Bronx—forged a friendship that has lasted over 50 years. Join them
for an intimate conversation about their lives, their work, and life in New
York City from the 1960s to today. Gloria
Steinem is a writer, lecturer, editor and feminist activist.
Barbara Nessim is an artist, illustrator, and educator
