Hi Helen
You can use question sets alongside single questions in a test with no problem at all. which would give you what you have described.
Cheers

Morning all,
I have an academic who has just starting to use tests in Blackboard. What he would like to do is to create a test where he has some fixed questions, and some in a random block,
where a student would be presented with, say, 20 from a possible 30 questions.
Is there any way to do this in the same test? I’m happy with creating a random block but not so sure about combining it with a fixed block? If this is not possible, then can you
set up two tests, one for the fixed question set and one for the random question sets?
Many thanks in advance
Helen
