Senior Lecturer (Tenured), Epidemiology

The MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics (CNGG) has brought together world-leading researchers to better understand the major causes of mental illness using discovery and translational research.   Following an extremely successful first term, the CNGG has been renewed by the MRC for a further 5 years and this is one of a number of new senior level posts designed to further develop the CNGG and associated research.

As a high-calibre senior academic with a background in epidemiology, genetics or psychology, you will facilitate the development of an internationally competitive research programme in epidemiology .   Evidence of training in advanced epidemiological approaches and statistical analysis capabilities is essential.   In addition, you should have a growing international reputation, as evidenced by a proven record of publications in high impact, peer-reviewed journals, ideally in the area of mental health research, together with a proven record of contributing and leading successful research bids and a strong portfolio of research grants.

This is a full time position (35 hours per week),  and is ongoing

Salary: £47,328 - £54,841 per annum (Grade 8).
