HK PhD Fellowship is a prestigious award established by the Research Grants Councili (RGC) of the HKSAR Government, aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their research degree programs in Hong Kong's institutions.

The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (~US$2,600), and conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (~US$1,300) per year for the awardees for a maximum of three years.  In addition, Fellowship recipients at CityU will be awarded the “Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies Entrance Scholarship” (HK$67,296; ~USD8,630), which covers students' tuition and on-campus hostel accommodation fees in their first year of research studies. 

For Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, we are particularly interested in applicants with strong quantitative skills to carry out research in applied statistics, quality, reliability and risk analysis.
