I’m co-founder of an independent video game company, Science: Gamed. Our mission is to make games inspired by science- that is, games that contain and are based around science but are playable by everyone (and targeted at the general gamer market).

We’ve recently release a new demo of our first game, SORS, which is based on spatially offset raman spectroscopy (because, why well not?!)

SORS is a sci-fi narrative driven puzzle game. You’re a doctor and have to diagnose patients using a scanner and graph. Over time things get more hectic as you have to diagnose more diseases, plus there’s the issue of someone hacking the machinery at the hospital (a mystery you help solve during the game). The game will have multiple endings depending on which choices the player makes, and these choices will also influence specific aspects of gameplay.
