hi they do indeed own the paper but not the information on it and the oh service is the custodian , the only way they can have access is informed consent or a court order

I have been told to release OH notes to the company solicitor.
They inform me that they do not need to gain consent as they own the notes.

I have always worked on the ethic that consent has to be gained from the person involved before this can be allowed.

The persons involved are the firms data protection officer and solicitor ...
I am struggling with this as pressure is being applied from high.

Any advice welcomed.
