Hi Ruth

Agree with others views but it may also be worth pointing out that if you
did release the notes without consent and under duress and that ever came
out in court, both you and the company would be toast - and they should know
that. The risk of not doing this properly as much theirs as yours.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Release of OH notes.

Hi all

I have been told to release OH notes to the company solicitor.
They inform me that they do not need to gain consent as they own the notes.

I have always worked on the ethic that consent has to be gained from the
person involved before this can be allowed.

The persons involved are the firms data protection officer and solicitor
...
I am struggling with this as pressure is being applied from high.

Any advice welcomed.

Many thanks

Ruth
