medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Dear Jussi,

As ever, you are quick to help, and I'm grateful. I'll be sure to check that distinction by Thomas Aquinas. As for cowardice, I was not very clear: I'm interested particularly not in cases where cowardice is a sub-species of another sin (or vice!), but where it appears on its own, on the same level (at least approximately) as pride or sloth or lust (or any other capital/mortal/deadly) sin; if you or any colleagues know of such examples, I'd be very pleased to learn of this.

All good wishes, as always, George
