San Francisco Dance Film Festival celebrates its fifth anniversary beginning with a special kickoff event at the JCCSF on Sunday Nov. 2nd at 5pm  featuring legendary documentarian Frederick Wiseman in conversation with LINES Ballet's Alonzo King. The festival itself opens Thursday Nov. 6th at 7pm at the Brava Theater Center and runs through the weekend, with over 50 international filmmakers, choreographers and special guests in attendance, representing nearly 70 dance films from around the world. Moderators include Ellen Bromberg, University of Utah, Diane Frank of the Stanford Dance Division, Chris Metzler of SF IndieFest, and Tiit Helimets, Principal Dancer at San Francisco Ballet.
