Apologies again: I forgot to include the link to the GSTT vacancy site: http://jobs.gstt.nhs.uk/job/v338259 *Apologies for cross posting* Information Specialist - Part time Band 5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post Title: Information Specialist – Health Information Departments: Reay House Library Services Band: Band 5 Hours: 19 hours per week Base: Reay House Library Lambeth Hospital 108 Landor Rd London SW9 9NT We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic qualified librarian to join the Reay House Library team supporting clinical practice, service development, research and education for: • Community services staff of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust • Public health, commissioning and primary care in Lambeth and Southwark • Mental health through South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust The post-holder will play a vital part in delivering high quality library services across these organisations, including a busy enquiry and literature search service, document supply and information literacy training. As well as contributing to day-to-day activities, the post-holder will take responsibility for developing the collection of health promotion education resources. This is a part-time post (19 hours/week) and there is some scope for flexibility about the working pattern. Reay House Library is on the Lambeth Hospital site but outreach is increasingly important and some local travel will be required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class team in an active and progressive community service environment. Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) is made up of two of London’s best known teaching hospitals and employs over 12,500 staff with over 1 million patient contacts a year. As part of the King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Network (KHP AHSN), the Trust works closely with King’s College London, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in collaborative research and joint working initiatives.
