Knowledge Managers, Glasgow
We have two project roles for Knowledge Managers working with a public health organisation based in Glasgow. Both contracts are scheduled to run through to March 2015 in the first instance.

DL/15154T Senior Knowledge Manager
The Senior Knowledge Manager will design and implement a portfolio of knowledge management solutions to support the translation of knowledge into practice for safe, effective, person-centred care. This will encompass analysis of user information and knowledge needs,which will in turnl contribute to  design, delivery, maintenance, evaluation and development of online information and knowledge systems to meet the needs of target audiences. The role will also include national programmes of marketing, communication and user education for a range of products and services. This includes delivery of face to face, small and large group training sessions, online, phone and videoconference-based training and distance learning packages 

The successful candidate will have a  Masters-level qualification or equivalent experience in a knowledge management field, and  be able to demonstrate theoretical and conceptual understanding of knowledge management as well as practical experience. Significant experience in delivering knowledge management training and support, including a track record in innovation, experience in defining requirements for online systems, and experience in facilitating communities of practice is also central to this role. 
c.£15.00 - £20.00 per hour.

DL/15153T Knowledge Manager
We need a Knowledge Manager to support communication, marketing, knowledge needs analysis, design and delivery of training programmes and other learning solutions. You will provide support for colleagues to help them in finding and sharing knowledge and translating it into practice. You will also support the definition and facilitate the development of skills, behaviours and values of knowledge management and translation of knowledge into practice within the workforce. 

Candidates must hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in information science or equivalent discipline , and have significant experience of working in electronic knowledge environment. You will also have strong communication and influencing skills, written and verbal presentation skills and organisation and time management skills.
Salary c.£13.00-£17.00 per hour.
