Hi, I have been asked to help a doctor with an article which has been rejected for publication. One of the criticisms he has received from the peer reviewer is that his article falls into a grey area between a literature review and a systematic review. He has explained his search terms and the databases searched but has not gone into great detail about how the search terms were chosen or how many authors screened the results etc. Does anyone have any advice/resources showing how to differentiate between what is required (in terms of the literature search) in a lit review and a systematic review?
