Afternoon All.
I was wondering if anyone might have come across a rock like the one in the attached images?
The only information I have is a scrap of paper with it saying North Skye.
Can anyone identify it or narrow down the location please.
It doesn't effervesce in HCl, so it's not a carbonate. I am assuming some form of Silicified bivalve shell deposit.
Any comments appreciated.

Thanks

Simon
