You're trying to write the file within the directory: /usr/local/fsl-5.0.7/data/standard, to which you probably don't have write access.

Try running the command from your home directory, for example. (You will of course have to provide an explicit path to the MNI brain.)

Dear FSL developers,

I am trying to create a spherical ROI centered on the peak coordinate in the VMPFC and I am experiencing an error when attempting to run fslmaths (attached). I am using coordinates in the voxel space as instructed. Do you have a clue about what may be causing this error?

Thanks very much
Anja
