We have just successfully applied for a transfer of credit for an AS from AQA to WJEC even though he had aggregated for A2 at his previous college.  There were extenuating circumstances however.

Hi,

My understanding is that when an A2 is cashed in it is then complete, it isn't possible to transfer just the AS.

The only options would be for the student to re-sit units and re-aggregate his A2, or start again completely with a different exam board.

Regards

Katie.

Hello All

Can anyone give me some advice regarding an AS transfer, I have processed these before and all have been straightforward, however I now have a learner who gained an A2 at another school and is not happy with his results. He want to transfer the AS from OCR to Edexcel so that he can come to us, my question is can he do this if he has already cashed in for his A2.

Regards
