Dear colleagues

As you may be aware, the Adult Learners' Week Awards 2015<http://www.alw.org.uk/awards/2015> are now open and awaiting your nominations. We want to hear the very best stories about adults of every background, age and stage who, through learning, have transformed their own lives and the lives of their families, the communities they live in and the places they work.

In 2014, award winners in the North West included English Corner, a Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Museum English language programme which used the museum and gallery collections to develop speaking and listening skills. Nationally, the Life Skills project award winner was ESOL Online, developed by WEA and Unite to help migrant workers access ESOL around their work commitments.

For 2015, there will be awards for individuals, tutors, projects and employers, and it would be great to have ESOL well represented amongst the winners again. The closing date for nominations<http://www.alw.org.uk/awards/2015> is Wednesday 17th December 2014. For further information about Adult Learners' Week, please see www.alw.org.uk<http://www.alw.org.uk> .

We hope that you will be able to make a nomination this year, and look forward to hearing some more remarkable ESOL stories.
Regards
Alex
