The deadline to register for the University of Leicester two day conference Museums Alive! Exploring How Museums Behave Like Living Beings is Wednesday 15 October. This conference will explore how museums behave in a manner similar to living organisms and include presentations on themes including "Creating Museum Identities", "Living Museums", "Museum Environments" and "Museums as Laboratories". Additionally, the conference will feature presentations by Sophie Henderson of the Migration Museum Project, University of Leicester School of Museum Studies Professor Simon Knell, University of Leicester School of Museum Studies Director and Head of School Dr. Suzanne MacLeod, and University of Leicester School of Museum Studies Professor Emeritus Susan Pearce.
