UK- São Paulo, Brazil workshop: Using Systems and Synthetic Biology to Tailor Plant Cell Walls for a Better Future

Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council and FAPESP will be holding a workshop on the above theme in São Paulo, Brazil from 9 to 12 March 2015.

The workshop is being coordinated by Dr Maurice Bosch (Aberystwyth University, UK) and Professor Marcos Buckeridge (University of São Paulo, Brazil) and will include keynote lectures from the following leading researchers who will also act as mentors to the early career researchers during the workshop:
- Prof. Simon McQueen-Mason, University of York, UK
- Prof. Paul Dupree, University of Cambridge, UK
- Prof. Richard Ward, University of São Paulo, Brazil
- Prof. Igor Polikarpov, University of São Paulo, Brazil

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK or the State of São Paulo, Brazil to apply to attend this workshop.

All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
