The Irish Research Council has announced its annual postdoctoral fellowship scheme, designed to support outstanding researchers who are no more than 5 years post-PhD to pursue their own research project at an Irish institution for up to 2 years http://www.research.ie/scheme/government-ireland-postdoctoral-fellowship-2015 The deadline for applications is the 27th November 2014, with fellowships due to start in October 2015.

We would be delighted to hear from any potential applicants who wish to pursue research in statistics in MACSI at the University of Limerick www.macsi.ul.ie. Research interests in the group include Bayesian modelling, functional data analysis, change-point problems, product-partition models, high-dimensional data, mixed models, model-based clustering, chemometrics, multi-level statistical models, evidence synthesis, disease and epidemic models, reliability analysis, biomedical statitistics, and classification in cohort studies
