The Department of Anthropology, Undergraduate Program in Archaeology, Anthropology Graduate Program, and the Trent University Archaeological Research Centre seek to compliment and build upon existing research and training
through the appointment of a CRC in Environmental Archaeology. A candidate with a specialization in palaeobotany or geoarchaeology is preferred. While the temporal and regional focus is open, a scholar who has an active research program in the Americas is

by both disciplinary traditions and leads to the development of new insight and understanding of the archaeological record.
Candidates for the Tier II CRC positions must be excellent emerging researchers who possess the necessary qualifications to be appointed at the Assistant/Associate Professor Level. Candidates must have received their doctorate
within the last 10 years.
By October 1, 2014 applicants should send a curriculum vita, statement of teaching philosophy, brief 5-year research plan, examples of significant research contributions, and names and contact information for three potential referees
