ESRC has funded a lot of work around the referendum – have a look at http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk/ as there are loads of resources such as the Guide to the Debate, and an outline of many of the projects we have funded.

Sheila Riddell http://futureukandscotland.ac.uk/projects/fellows has been looking specifically at higher education and the Scottish Centre on Constitutional Change (SCCC) has a breadth of projects which you might find interesting http://futureukandscotland.ac.uk/projects/research-centre .

Dear colleagues,

Pre-emptively I am looking for someone – could be a scientist or academic, but preferably someone working in a policy/public affairs/government relations field – who would be able to speak at an event in London in October on what the impact of Scottish independence would mean for UK science. I can’t promise an appearance fee but I can promise a free drink or two and some lively chat!  If anyone knows of anyone who might fit the bill please do get in touch.
