Dear Jisc,
I have a question that I would appreciate some help/advice with?

I completed my OH Degree- BA in Occupational Health Practice at RGU. For one reason and another I did not complete the pathway to enable registration on Part 3 of the NMC Register.

I recall a conversation a while ago with an OHA (don't recall name or company they worked for as we were attendees on a course) who gave me the impression that you can retrospectively do the components to enable Part 3 registration. We did not get far enough to discuss the whys and wherefores.

I have contacted the course lead at RGU and they do not offer this and she didn't think it could be done. Does anyone on Jisc know how or if this can indeed be done? If so, could you please give me an idea of providers/universities/learned institutions that support this and what it is that would need to be done so I could hopefully follow this up.

With following the press surrounding Part 3, I am wondering how long this would be in existence for and what would happen for all those Nurse with the part 3 registration if the NMC do change this.

Please reply off line if it helps to stop an influx of unwanted e-mails.

Many thanks in anticipation........

Regards

Terri
