Hi

We use a secure file transfer system which your IT services will no doubt be familiar with. The beauty of this is that only the recipient can open the document with their own password so you don’t need to email one separately which is still not secure.

Kind Regards

Jo

I work in an area of high security and have been advised to send the password in a separate email; that is a safe way apparently.

Hi

Any report sent to individuals or management we password protect. I send the password by text to mob phone. It works well for us!

Cheers H

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] issuing passwords for access to emailed reports

Dear All

We send employees a copy of their report by email wherever possible. Up until now we have not password protected these documents but want to do so.

We have sorted out a way of password protecting PDFs but now need to consider a simple and time effective way of issuing passwords to employees.

Can I ask what methods you use please?

Many thanks

Jo
