Ph.D. position in Computational Chemistry

A Ph.D. position is available at the Basque Center for
Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa in San
Sebastián, Spain. The Ph.D. project is aimed at developing and
applying state of the art computational methods in polymer
chemistry. In particular, development and parameterization of
large-scale coarse-grained model and subsequently its utilization to
predict the morphology of films based on the microstructure of their
constituent polymer particles. Furthermore, adsorption phenomena of
amphiphilic block copolymers will be simulated at the atomic level
and/or by an available coarse-grained model.
The candidate should have a solid background and a Master (or an
equivalent) degree in chemistry, physics, computer science, or any
other related area.
