Dear MEG community We will have to buy a new projector which will stand outside the MSR, and need an advice. The cheapest offer I got for an LCD projector (Hitachi CP WX8240A <http://dmd.hitachi-america.us/products/consumer/digitalmedia/lcd_projectors/lineup/details/CP-WX8240A.php>) is about 3000$ plus 2400$ for the lens. Is there a cheaper alternative for LCD projectors, presuming I want to keep the projector out of the MSR? We found no DLP projectors with suitable lens. It might be possible to get a DLP and add a lens. Navitar <http://www.navitar.com/pdf/av_brochure_2008.pdf> offers lens solutions for projectors (for MRI), does anyone have experience with such combinations?
