Both degrees are broad based, media-oriented academic courses with practical and some vocational elements.

BACOMM is a long-established and very successful course: it covers a wide range of academic study areas, as well vocational paths such as Public Relations, Journalism, and Advertising. BA English is in its fifth year, and is already very popular, with a 91% NSS score for 2013-14. It covers language and literature in the context of the broad range of media in which stories are told.

We are looking for someone with an interest and background in a range of writing modes and fields, including creative writing, digital narrative, and narrative theory.

The post would be for 4 years.
