Developer/Graduate Developer (Ref TW14-06) Based in Stirling, Starting Salary £16,000-£26,000 depending on experience thinkWhere is one of the UK’s leading Geographic Information Services (GIS) companies. We have an immediate requirement for a developer to work on our online GIS platform, Location Centre, and a range of innovative technical GIS projects using Open Source software. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys technical challenges and developing technical products for business users. As part of our product development team, you’ll be directly involved in the design, development, testing and technical support of our software products. You’ll be developing and improving product functionality as well as contributing to product innovation and new product development. You’ll be using programming skills in ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, Python and SQL and working with Open Source products like PostGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers and QGIS. You’ll need good analysis, design and organisational skills and possess a practical ‘can-do’ attitude. Knowledge of geographic information and experience with geospatial applications will be beneficial.
