Postgraduate Online Research Training, or PORT (http://port.igrs.sas.ac.uk/), is a useful on-line resource designed specifically for students in the Modern Languages. Easily accessible and including aspects of both language specific (e.g. libraries, archives, cultural centres) and general (e.g. organizing and presenting research work, compiling references and bibliographies, applying for grants and jobs) research training, PORT is frequently updated with news, resources and feeds of interest to the Modern Languages. Workshops and seminars listed below link to PORT. PORT is also a unique source of specialized advice on Czech, French / Francophone, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish / Hispanic archives, libraries and research resources.
