Family Learning Volunteers required at the London Transport Museum The London Transport Museum are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support a new and exciting addition to our family learning provision. We have developed a series of replica historical transport uniforms/period costumes and props for use by families at various points throughout the main Museum galleries. Families have a more in-depth learning experience if costumes and props are facilitated, and we are looking for volunteers to help us develop facilitated sessions at weekends and during school holidays, to be launched in November 2015. Volunteers will work in pairs to engage families and use costumes, props and role play to convey information about the changing roles and responsibilities of transport personnel in a fun and informal way.
