Hello everyone,
Firstly, I apologised if this has been asked before.
I’m planning family activities for October half term and wondered about poppy making and relating them to remembrance. I think the British Legion have copyright of the remembrance poppy image
(I’m waiting to hear back from them but I need the text asap) so we wouldn’t make them look exactly the same but I wondered what anyone else thought about this. Do you think it would be an issue as I’m unsure if it is an okay thing to do?
One workshop will be free and will be tissue paper poppies, the other will be a paid workshop, a nominal amount to pay for materials, and will be felt poppy badges. As we are a charity people
pay to support us and its far too confusing for us to then donate that to another charity so the proceeds won’t be going to the British Legion.
Thank you,
All the best
Anita
