Dear all,

The Institute for Research into Superdiversity at the University of Birmingham is hosting a workshop on causes, experiences and responses to poverty among migrants and refugees on 25th September, 1.30-5.00 pm.

As an introduction to the workshop, we will present the findings of two recent state-of-the-art reviews on poverty and asylum (IRiS WP 1), and poverty and migration (IRiS WP 4) in the UK. The reviews were commissioned by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation as part of their Anti-Poverty Strategy. The aim of the workshop is to take stock of existing evidence and discuss future scenarios and possible actions. Please see below the workshop programme.

Places are limited. If you are interested to attend the workshop, please email IRiS manager Ann Bolstridge [log in to unmask] by Monday 8th September.

Best wishes,
Nando
