The Policy Group within Universities UK is looking for a Health Research Networks Lead for the Health Services
Research Network (0.6 FTE) and the National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (NIHR CLAHRC) Partnership Programme (0.4 FTE). The post holder will work with the Health Research Networks Manager and
the Assistant Director of Policy as well as the broader Policy Group to develop and implement agreed programmes of activity and to integrate those into the broader aims of the Policy Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Chair, the Board and Members of the Health
Services Research Network to shape and lead a range of activities, including developing the Network's reach across the health services research community and key partners, delivering network events and activities, such as the annual HSRN Symposium and influencing
policy. They will also be responsible for working with CLAHRC leadership and NIHR to deliver the range of activities detailed in the CLAHRC Partnership Programme agreement. These include delivering secretariat functions to the National CLAHRC leadership, supporting
inter - CLAHRC activity such as operational communications and facilitating broader networks and links.
This post is fixed term, subject to renewal of programme contract after 1 year and 3 months.

The Policy Group within Universities UK (UUK) is responsible for developing and delivering a programme of policy
and research activities which aim to shape the future environment for higher education in the UK. The group carries out advocacy and policy development to lead the higher education agenda and research and analyse to strengthen the evidence base for policy
making and to provide advice and to make informed contributions to critical issues. The sector also develops policy options which support the future strength and health of the UK HE sector and is responsible for developing and delivering major programmes of
change within higher education.
