Dear All,
Some places still available to explore a new group-level approach to reflective practice. This experiential cross-disciplinary event is taking place at Institute of Education, London on Wednesday 8th October.

The workshop provides a practical means of supporting reflective practice in the immediate social context. Theoretically, it explores the shift from metacognition to social metacognition (Frith, 2012).

Group-Situated Reflective Practice is a pedagogical approach developed from doctoral research at the University of Glasgow (Bowskill, 2013). It consists of three core elements which are: (1) Discussion & Listening (2) Pedagogical Documentation (Rinaldi) and (3) Group-Situated Recipes. This is a practical process in which the group serves as a resource for individual and organisational learning alike.

This practice has already been used in several institutions for both staff and students. It is scalable, measurable and practical. A booking form is attached if you would like to reserve a place and be invoiced later. Alternatively it is possible to book and pay online via Eventrbrite at: http://bit.ly/1rFruFR

Best Wishes,
Nick
