Charity deserts, spatial justice, and the distribution of voluntary resources: bad science, evidence-free policy, and the politics of the “Big Society”

The lecture examines the spatial justice aspects of the increasing reliance upon charity and voluntarism in welfare provision.

The lecture is also launching a new RIA paperback, Spatial Justice and the Irish Crisis.
