Dear All,

Please save the date for the next Gerald Aylmer Seminar, which will take place on Friday, February 27th 2015 at the Institute for Historical Research at Senate House. Organised by The National Archives, the Institute of Historical Research, the Royal Historical Society and the British Library, the seminar aims to address subjects of joint interest to historians and archivists, focusing on aspects of the relationship between historians and the sources they use. The seminar has been running for a number of years and is going from strength to strength with over 120 people attending the 2014 seminar on ‘Global Archives'. The podcasts from last year can be found here.

The topic is broadly set to focus on ‘Secret Histories’ – hidden in archives, secrets in families or in difficult periods in national and global history. A full programme and further information will be available in the next few months. If you would like to attend, please complete the attached booking form and return it to [log in to unmask]

We look forward to an informative and stimulating day.

Best,

Victoria
