It look like a spurdog (Squalus acanthias) dorsal spine to me, so fish not bird.

Sorry about the lack of photos in the previous post!

These are from a Northwest Coast shell midden site in British Columbia. I thought they may be bird related-beaks or claws, but I can't find an exact match from the zooarch collection I am using. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
